Description summary

We present the new METHOD CLIMBING climbing and mountaineering shoes, featuring a highly flexible design conceived to adhere to all types of rocky surfaces such as limestone.

Its surface is made of mixed materials such as suede, synthetic leather and breathable mesh. As a fastening system, it has velcro-type straps that provide much more practicality.

Its sole is made of approximately 4.5mm thick rubber for greater performance and durability. It has a molded heel design to provide much more comfort. Inside this shoe is made up of fully breathable fabrics that will keep you dry.

The Black Diamond Method is built for sending sport pitches, from the blocky limestone of Rifle to the enduro sandstone of the Red. By prioritizing forefoot comfort and a minimal break-in period, the Method is easy on the feet out of the box, while maintaining stiff edge control for increased power for newer outdoor climbers. With a downturned last that’s not ultra-aggressive, these shoes perform well on a variety of angles, from steep to vertical, making them a one-quiver sport shoe for those who value simplicity. The molded sticky rubber—inspired by the way we forge our carabiners—is not cut from one sheet, allowing us to optimize the molds for minimal waste, low weight, consistency and comfort. A stretch-resistant micro-fiber upper provides next to skin comfort, and the tongue is made from our cush, microsuede lined woven textile, which is exceptionally breathable and increases mobility. The Method wraps it all up with Velcro straps that allow you to dial in the desired tension and fit.

My recommendation is to order your usual conventional shoe size. They are small in and of themselves. I use the 45 normal shoe and I can't wear the 44 1/2 for more than 3 minutes.

I bought the product from to 18 days ago. 'They arrived at my address without problems. The box was crushed (normal shipping), but the cats were super good. I am from Mexico (Puebla, Puebla). They arrived and I took them, quite comfortable and good adherence. The material and finishes, quite good.
