Black Diamond MiniWire 12 cm Quickdraw

Experience the pinnacle of lightweight climbing performance with the Black Diamond MiniWire 12 cm Quickdraw. Engineered for the discerning climber who understands that every gram counts, this quickdraw is the definitive choice for trimming weight from your rack without sacrificing an ounce of performance or reliability. It represents the ultimate solution for fast and light ascents, where efficiency and minimalist gear can be the key to success. Ideal for demanding alpine missions, sprawling multi-pitch trad routes, and endurance-testing sport climbs, the MiniWire is built to help you push your limits and move with greater freedom on the wall.

Our lightest quickdraw, the Black Diamond MiniWire Quickdraw is ideal for trimming ounces on all-day gear routes and marathon sport pitches. Featuring our hot-forged MiniWire carabiners on the top and bottom as well as a lightweight 10 mm Dynex dogbone with an integrated Straitjacket insert, which keeps the bottom biner in the optimal clipping position, this draw shines on alpine missions and any climb where a light rack can make or break the crux.

The heart of this quickdraw lies in its advanced construction. The dual wiregate design is not only crucial for achieving its featherlight status but also provides significant functional advantages. This design completely eliminates the risk of gate flutter during a fall and is less susceptible to freezing and jamming in cold, icy environments, making it a trusted companion for mountaineering and ice climbing. The hot-forged MiniWire carabiners are optimized for strength and easy handling, providing a smooth clipping action for both the rope and the bolt hanger.

Confidence in your gear is paramount, and the MiniWire quickdraw delivers. The connection is made with a durable and impressively slender 10 mm Dynex dogbone. This low-profile design reduces bulk on your harness and minimizes swing weight while climbing. Critically, the integrated Straitjacket insert on the rope-end of the dogbone keeps the bottom carabiner perfectly oriented, preventing frustrating twists and ensuring it is always in the ideal position for a quick and secure clip when you´re pumped and reaching. This thoughtful feature enhances safety and efficiency, allowing you to focus completely on the movement ahead.
