No complaints, but I had an old and a new version of the Black Diamond Spot, which I loved, and I was curious about the Storm model which allegedly has a more secure water-sealed battery compartment and has 2 additional colors of light, blue and green. Now that I have the Storm in my hand, I can say that I prefer the Spot, it's cheaper, smaller, lighter, and very sufficient.

The flashlight has improved a lot, it is smaller, lighter and more complete. There are 3 LED colors, more powerful in the headlight, 2 buttons to change mode and on/off, possibility of battery or AAA batteries. For caves or night canyons it is perfect.

A very nice lamp, 3 alkaline Duracel batteries are included. There is a rechargeable lithium battery for the lamp, the BD1500. This can be purchased separately. There is an indicator on the lamp that shows the battery level.
