I´d like to know what material it´s made of and if it´s suitable as carry-on luggage. Thanks.

The exterior of the backpack is water-repellent, and the part that touches your back is made of nylon. It´s very comfortable both empty and full. I´ve used it as luggage on weekend flights, and it works perfectly. I take it to the gym every day.
