Dare2B Emergent Core Jacket

Equip the next generation of adventurers with the Dare2B Emergent Core Jacket, a high-performance piece of outerwear engineered for young explorers who demand comfort and protection on the trail. Designed specifically for girls with a passion for the outdoors, this jacket masterfully blends cutting-edge technology with a sleek, active fit, ensuring they stay warm, dry, and comfortable from the trailhead to the summit. It’s the perfect companion for unpredictable weather, providing a reliable barrier against the elements without restricting movement, making every hike a more enjoyable experience.

The Emergent Core Jacket is built to withstand the challenges of the great outdoors. Its primary strength lies in its exceptional weather-protective properties. Utilising advanced waterproof fabric, this jacket is your child´s best defence against sudden downpours and persistent drizzle. To bolster this defence, the seams are critically taped, sealing out moisture at the most vulnerable points and guaranteeing dryness when the weather turns. Furthermore, the fabric is completely windproof, offering crucial protection from chilling gusts on exposed ridgelines and blustery hilltops. This combination of waterproof and windproof technology ensures a stable, comfortable microclimate, allowing for longer and more ambitious adventures.

Performance during active pursuits like hiking is paramount. The Emergent Core Jacket excels in this area thanks to its integrated stretch capabilities. The fabric is designed to move with the body, offering exceptional freedom of movement for scrambling over rocks, navigating tricky terrain, or simply running ahead on the path. This active fit prevents the feeling of being constricted, allowing for a full range of motion. Inside, a lightweight synthetic insulation provides essential core warmth without adding unnecessary bulk. This low-profile padding traps body heat efficiently, making the jacket an excellent standalone piece in cool conditions or a highly effective midlayer under a shell when the temperature plummets.

Functionality is woven into every aspect of this jacket´s design. Two zipped lower pockets provide secure storage for trail essentials like snacks, a compass, or treasured finds, while also serving as warm havens for cold hands. The cuffs and hem are adjustable, allowing for a customised fit that effectively seals out drafts and retains warmth. A chin guard at the top of the zipper prevents irritation, ensuring comfort throughout a full day of wear. The smart, hoodless design makes it an incredibly versatile layering piece, fitting smoothly under a larger waterproof shell or over a base layer without any bulk or interference around the neck and head area.
