Edelrid HMS Bullet Triple snap hook

EDELRID HMS Bullet Triple: Unwavering Safety and Flawless Handling

Elevate your climbing experience with the EDELRID HMS Bullet Triple, a pinnacle of German engineering designed for climbers who refuse to compromise on safety and performance. This robust belay carabiner is the cornerstone of a reliable setup, providing the security and smooth operation needed for everything from gym sessions to demanding multi-pitch routes. Its intelligent design and superior locking mechanism make it the ultimate choice for belaying and rappelling, giving you the confidence to focus on the climb.

The defining characteristic of the HMS Bullet Triple is its commitment to absolute security. The triple-action auto-locking gate provides an exceptional level of safety, requiring three distinct movements—lift, twist, and open—to disengage. This intuitive yet highly secure system virtually eliminates the risk of accidental gate opening from rope vibration or contact with the rock, offering unparalleled peace of mind whether you are belaying a leader, top-roping, or managing the ropes on an abseil.

Expertly crafted for seamless integration into your climbing system, the classic pear-shaped HMS design ensures optimal rope handling. This geometry provides a wide, smooth surface for the rope to run over, reducing friction and wear while facilitating easy use with a Munter hitch. When paired with EDELRID´s own belay devices, such as the Mega Jul or Giga Jul, the HMS Bullet Triple creates a perfectly harmonized system, delivering predictable and reliable braking performance every time.

Handling is further perfected by the innovative Keylock nose. This snag-free closure system means there´s no notch on the carabiner´s nose to catch on your harness gear loop, rope, or anchor slings. Clipping and unclipping become a fluid, frustration-free action, which is especially critical in high-stakes situations where speed and efficiency matter. This thoughtful detail showcases a design that understands the practical needs of a climber.

Despite its robust build, the HMS Bullet Triple remains impressively light thanks to its H-profile construction. This advanced manufacturing technique concentrates material in high-stress areas while trimming it from non-critical zones, achieving an optimal strength-to-weight ratio. The result is a durable, long-lasting carabiner that won’t weigh you down on the ascent.

Beyond its technical excellence, the HMS Bullet Triple reflects EDELRID´s commitment to sustainability and quality. As a Bluesign certified product proudly Made in Germany, it adheres to the highest standards of environmental responsibility and manufacturing precision. The inclusion of an integrated RFID chip allows for easy and efficient PPE management, a crucial feature for climbing gyms and professional guides.
