Featuring an innovative H-profile construction for maximum strength with minimal weight, this carabiner is a dependable choice for climbers seeking efficiency without compromising safety

Discover the EDELRID HMS Strike Screw, a masterclass in climbing hardware engineering designed for climbers who demand efficiency, reliability, and minimal weight. This snap hook is an essential piece of climbing equipment, perfectly suited for the discerning alpinist and multi-pitch climber where every gram counts. Its superior design and flawless functionality make it a top-tier choice for belaying, rappelling, and building anchors.

The primary advantage of the HMS Strike is its incredibly low weight and compact form factor. For climbers venturing into the mountains or tackling long routes, reducing the bulk and weight on the harness is paramount. This carabiner allows you to carry a full-function, reliable HMS carabiner without the penalty of extra weight, ensuring you stay nimble and efficient from the first pitch to the summit. Its pear-shaped HMS design provides a large rope-bearing surface, making it ideal for smooth rope management with belay devices or for use with a Munter hitch, offering versatile and secure performance in any situation.

Handling is a dream thanks to its innovative features. The clean, snag-free nose is a direct result of the Keylock closure system. This intelligent design eliminates the traditional notch on the carabiner´s nose, allowing for seamless clipping and unclipping from ropes, slings, and harness gear loops. Say goodbye to frustrating snags when you´re under pressure or setting up a crucial anchor. The screw gate mechanism is a classic, time-tested design that offers unwavering security. It is simple to operate, easy to visually inspect to ensure it is locked, and less susceptible to freezing in cold, alpine conditions, providing peace of mind when you need it most.

Engineered for maximum strength with minimum mass, the Strike embodies modern manufacturing excellence.

Very compact and lightweight HMS carabiner.

Ideal for alpine climbing.

Available with a screw, twist, triple, or slider lock.

Keylock closure mechanism for optimum handling when clipping and unclipping.

H-profile construction ensures best possible use of material and minimal weight.

The specialized H-profile construction is the secret behind its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. By strategically placing material only where it is needed for strength and removing it from non-critical areas, EDELRID has created a carabiner that is both robust and featherlight. This advanced manufacturing process not only sheds grams but also maintains the high safety standards and durability that climbers expect from their life-saving equipment. Whether you´re building a belay station on a windy ledge or rappelling a long face, the EDELRID HMS Strike Screw carabiner provides the confidence and performance you need to push your limits safely. Equip your rack with this compact powerhouse and experience the difference that superior design makes
