Edelrid Mylodon jacket

EDELRID Mylodon Jacket | Warm & Durable Fleece for Professional Use

The EDELRID Mylodon Jacket is a high-performance fleece expertly engineered for professionals who work in demanding outdoor environments. When your job requires warmth, durability, and complete freedom of movement, this insulated synthetic jacket delivers uncompromising performance. It is the ideal mid-layer for arborists, tree care specialists, and climbers who need reliable gear that works as hard as they do on cold days.

At its core, the Mylodon offers exceptional, cozy warmth without the cumbersome bulk. Crafted from a warm, soft fleece, it provides excellent thermal regulation, trapping body heat to keep you comfortable during long hours in chilly conditions. Its streamlined, athletic cut is specifically designed to fit perfectly under a climbing harness, ensuring there is no bunching or interference, allowing for a seamless and safe workflow whether you are aloft in a tree or working on the ground.

What truly sets the Mylodon jacket apart is its outstanding durability. Understanding the rigors of frequent contact with abrasive surfaces, EDELRID has integrated robust, abrasion-resistant reinforced material on the sleeves. This crucial feature means the jacket can withstand regular encounters with tree bark, branches, and equipment without sustaining damage, significantly extending its service life and protecting your investment. It’s built to endure the specific challenges of tree work.

Unrestricted mobility is paramount for safety and efficiency. The Mylodon jacket is constructed with advanced stretch material and features a sophisticated, ergonomic cut tailored for dynamic activity. This combination guarantees a full range of motion, allowing you to reach, stretch, and climb without feeling restricted. The jacket moves with you, providing superior wear comfort throughout the day.

Functionality is woven into every detail. Ample and secure storage is provided for your essentials, with a convenient chest pocket and two zippered slash pockets on the sides, offering plenty of space for a phone, small tools, or other necessary items. For enhanced protection, the close-fitting, high collar offers extra warmth and acts as a barrier to keep out falling leaves, branches, and wood chippings. Stretch cuffs create a snug fit at the wrists, sealing out cold drafts and keeping the sleeves securely in place. The jacket is finished with a quality logo transfer print on the chest and an embroidered logo on the shoulder, signifying EDELRID´s commitment to excellence.
