EDELRID Switch Self-Belaying Lanyard | Lightweight & Dynamic Safety

Experience a new level of safety and convenience on exposed terrain with the EDELRID Switch self-belaying lanyard. As a crucial piece of hiking equipment for any adventurer venturing onto ridges, ledges, or via ferrata routes, the Switch provides a reliable, compact, and incredibly lightweight solution for securing yourself to an anchor point. Forget the bulk and limitations of traditional slings; this innovative lanyard is engineered from dynamic rope to offer superior performance and peace of mind when you need it most. Its smart design ensures it disappears in your pack when not in use and deploys in seconds for a fast, secure, and confident connection.

The primary benefit of the EDELRID Switch lies in its dynamic construction. Unlike static slings, which can create dangerously high impact forces in the event of a short fall onto the anchor, the Switch is made from high-quality dynamic rope that is designed to absorb energy. This critical feature significantly enhances your safety margin. Furthermore, its minimalist design prioritizes efficiency and low weight, making it the ideal companion for long hiking tours, alpine climbing, and any activity where every gram counts. The entire system is built for intuitive use, allowing you to quickly and safely manage your position on the mountain.
