EDELRID Tech Web 8 mm Sling: The Apex of Strength and Versatility

Elevate your climbing setup with the revolutionary EDELRID Tech Web 8 mm Sling, a masterpiece of engineering designed for the modern climber who demands uncompromising performance, safety, and versatility. This is not just another piece of webbing; it is a meticulously crafted tool that redefines expectations for climbing slings. Its unique construction provides the perfect balance of lightweight design, exceptional strength, and superior handling, making it an indispensable component of any rack, from alpine ascents to multi-pitch trad routes.

The core innovation lies in its unique kernmantle construction, a design typically reserved for dynamic ropes, now expertly applied to a static sling. This process results in a round, incredibly robust sling that offers significantly enhanced abrasion resistance and edge-load capacity compared to traditional flat webbing. This inherent durability ensures greater peace of mind when building anchors over sharp or textured rock, providing a reliable connection you can trust in critical situations.

The TECH WEB SLING 8MM is a sewn round sling with a woven kernmantle construction made from our award-winning Tech Web material.

The combination of light, high-strength Dyneema® and a sheath made from protective polyamide results in a low overall weight and excellent durability.

The soft webbing design is an innovative feature that enables the TECH WEB SLING 8MM to offer high knot strength and better absorb twists.

It is also supple to hold, which makes it perfect for use as a prusik sling or when setting up belay stations.
