Product description Garmin GPSMAP 66i GPS

GPSMAP 66i is a tracker device with which you will be able to obtain extensive information about the destination you wish to reach. Elevations, summits, rivers, lakes, and other points of interest will be able to know them just by using the preloaded Garmin maps. Also, you will be able to know the route through high-resolution images.

This model has a 3” color screen with sunlight readability. The handheld device includes a rechargeable lithium battery with an autonomy of 35 hours when the monitoring mode is activated every 10 minutes. The duration is extended up to 200 hours when the low consumption is turned on and the monitoring is every 30 minutes.

If you want to know information about the weather, with updated forecasts, you will access various indicators. You maintain communication with other cyclists because this technological equipment imports the list of contacts stored on your mobile. The Garmin GPSMAP 66i meets all my expectations. After a very short training period, I was able to fully understand and operate the device. This may be because I already had Garmin products before. However, it all seems a lot more thought out to me now. The battery life is excellent and the GPS accuracy is also very impressive, so you will receive an immediate notification if you stray even slightly. It is the fourth Garmin GPS I have, since the primitive GPS12, through an ETrex and an Oregon450. They have never let me down. I hope that this one, with its exceptional features (and the price on TrekInn): autonomy (35 h), Galileo, in addition to the GPS network, Egnos will accompany me on my routes for many years. At the moment I'm testing it and it meets what I expected from it. I think it's a great purchase.

I used this Garmin 66i GPS during a trek of more than 400 km on the GR 5 in Luxembourg and Lorraine. The routes and routes are easy to follow and the position is very precise. It is possible to take out a subscription (paid) for the use of the satellite emergency network. The battery lasts more than 30 hours in normal use without expedition mode. A very good product!

Unbeatable price and arrival of the product in 10 days. GPS and 2 top of the range Garmin for hiking, the big difference is the battery that lasts less. For those who can, load lotion every 2-3 days (2x 8 h min) and tip top.

It arrived within the established period and in perfect condition, just highlighting to the detriment of the service, that it arrived without the corresponding invoice, I am making arrangements through the after-sales service and they do not pick up the phone. As it is easy to imagine, the invoice is necessary for the possible event of having to take the GPS to the garmin technical service within the warranty period. I intend to purchase the garmin Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar watch this month, but I will wait to see how this circumstance is resolved. Amazing price. European distribution. Efficient delivery within 8 days of payment. From Spain to Poland. For tracking, you need to use the link provided by them, and then InPost. This is my next garmin gpsmap. I have doubts about its resistance to moisture and sun. It seems that the charger in the stand is essential. The archaic USB power socket does not promise durability and tightness. Just like I have concerns about the tightness of the card slot. But maybe I´m exaggerating. I haven´t checked its functions yet, although the position sensitivity seems to be worse than the old 64. On the windowsill, the 64 catches the position much faster than the 66.

The device is an excellent field GPS with good integration with Android and iOS. The operation and robustness of the equipment is exceptional, as well as its precision in the electronic compass and its speed in geopositioning on the map, even in conditions of low visibility of the sky, such as inside leafy forests. Hello. Visit the GPS club website to answer questions. You can upload the cartography you want. You just have to know how to do it. I recommend that you take the online course and become an expert, since the i66 is very useful. On the Garmin page you can easily search for your device and then look in the MAPS submenu by choosing South America.

Yes Italian is one of the many languages. I´m cycling now with 66i.I like the buttons to zoom en find shops and other waypoints. You need to extra buy the garmin bicycle mount ( I think less than 1 euro). Johan.
