I used them on Speed Goat 5 size 48 and bought the XL size and they were perfect. For a 44, according to the table it would be a size L

Since the Hoka speed goat 5 are "sneakers", therefore relatively smaller compared to a hiking boot, for size 44 2/3 I suggest the "L" size. (Excellent product for running on Snowy/icy roads)
