Grivel Sym K9T Symmetric Oval Carabiner

Discover the exceptional performance and reliability of the Grivel Sym K9T, a symmetric oval carabiner meticulously engineered for climbers and mountaineers who demand precision and security in their vertical pursuits. The Sym K9T is a cornerstone piece of climbing equipment, designed to handle a wide array of technical applications with flawless efficiency.

The defining characteristic of the Sym K9T is its perfectly symmetric oval carabiner shape. This classic design is not just for aesthetics; it is crucial for ensuring that your gear, especially devices with a wide cross-section, remains perfectly centered under load. The shape allows optimal use of devices such as pulleys, ascenders, and certain belay devices, preventing dangerous load-shifting and promoting the smoothest possible operation. This makes it an indispensable tool for building efficient hauling systems, setting up complex rigging, or ensuring your belay device functions as intended.

For enhanced safety and ease of use, the Sym K9T features a twist-lock opening. This auto-locking gate mechanism provides a superior balance between security and rapid access. The gate automatically secures upon closure, giving you peace of mind that your connection is solid, while the intuitive two-step twist-and-open action allows for quick and simple one-handed operation. It is the ideal choice for situations where you need to clip in and out frequently, such as at belay stations or during rope management, without compromising on safety.

Grivel’s unwavering commitment to safety is evident in every detail. Each individual Sym K9T carabiner undergoes rigorous testing before it ever leaves the factory. To guarantee full traceability and provide you with ultimate confidence in your gear, every unit is laser-marked with the specific date of testing and a unique progressive number. This meticulous quality control process ensures that the carabiner in your hand meets and exceeds the most stringent international safety standards.

Built to perform in demanding alpine environments, this carabiner is a versatile workhorse for both rock climbing and mountaineering activities, providing a strong and dependable link in any safety system.
