It looks like a quality garment but the size L is a little tight. I wear an L on some t-shirts and an XL on others. If this is your case, choose the XL. It looks pretty fine. It is clear that it is a base layer, not thermal, that produces good sweat evaporation. I was also looking for that feature so I was happy with my purchase, not with its size and I should have ordered the XL.
