Helly Hansen Verglas BC jacket

HELLY HANSEN Verglas BC Jacket | Men´s Waterproof Hardshell

Conquer the most demanding mountain environments with the HELLY HANSEN Verglas BC Jacket, a pinnacle of performance engineering for the modern adventurer. We designed this protective, comfortable hardshell jacket to truly excel during high-intensity backcountry skiing and rugged mountain treks. It’s the ultimate outer layer for those who push their limits and require gear that can keep pace. Face unpredictable weather with absolute confidence, knowing you´re shielded by cutting-edge technology and a design perfected for alpine conditions.

The foundation of the Verglas BC Jacket is our trusted 3-layer HELLY TECH® Professional technology. This advanced system provides an uncompromising barrier against the elements, delivering superior waterproof and windproof performance. While it seals out driving snow, sleet, and wind, it remains exceptionally breathable, allowing internal moisture and excess heat to escape. This crucial climate control ensures you stay dry and comfortable not just from the outside, but from the inside out, preventing the chill that comes from sweat buildup during strenuous ascents.

Dynamic movement is essential in the backcountry, and this jacket is built to move with you. The fabric features an integrated 2-way stretch, affording you complete freedom of movement whether you´re setting a skin track, making a technical climb, or navigating a tight couloir. The articulated fit works in harmony with your body, never restricting your reach or motion.

For enhanced protection when conditions turn harsh, the Verglas BC features a high collar with a soft-to-the-touch chin guard to prevent chafing, along with a tail drop for extra coverage. When you’re working hard and need to regulate your temperature, strategically placed ventilation zippers allow you to release heat quickly and efficiently.

This jacket is loaded with mountain-specific features that experienced alpinists will appreciate. For an added layer of safety in remote areas, it is equipped with a RECCO® transponder, which makes you searchable to professional rescuers. The hood is fully adjustable and helmet-compatible, ensuring you can maintain full protection without sacrificing visibility or safety. Its pack-compatible design means pockets and zippers remain accessible even when wearing a harness or a backpack. Multiple spacious pockets provide ample storage for essential gear, keeping everything you need within easy reach.

The Verglas BC isn´t just a jacket; it´s a piece of essential equipment for anyone serious about mountain exploration.
