Our BORNBERG HOODY softshell jacket is the perfect companion for your hiking trips.

The TEXASHIELD PRO SOFTSHELL fabric makes the jacket windproof, water repellent and very breathable.

The thread loops on the reverse side prevent microplastic particles being released into the wastewater during the wash cycle.

The articulated elbows promote good freedom of movement.

The hand pockets are positioned slightly higher, so you can access them easily when carrying a pack.

The hood provides additional protection if you get caught in a shower.

Experience unparalleled performance with a jacket designed to move with you. The core of the BORNBERG HOODY is its advanced TEXASHIELD PRO SOFTSHELL fabric, a high-performance material that creates a virtually impenetrable barrier against wind, preventing wind chill from draining your energy. While it blocks the wind, it remains incredibly breathable, allowing internal moisture and excess heat to escape efficiently. This active moisture management keeps you dry and comfortable from the inside out, even during strenuous ascents. The fabric´s water-repellent finish shrugs off light rain and snow, giving you ample time to find shelter in a heavier storm.

Functionality is at the heart of its design. The fixed hood offers immediate protection for your head and neck when the weather turns, while the articulated elbows are specifically engineered to provide an unrestricted range of motion, crucial for scrambling over rocks or using trekking poles. For hikers who rely on a backpack, the two hand pockets are cleverly raised, ensuring you always have access to your essentials without having to unbuckle your hip belt. This thoughtful design detail highlights the jacket´s pedigree as a piece of serious outdoor equipment. In a groundbreaking move towards sustainability, the jacket´s innovative reverse-side construction actively helps protect our planet´s waterways.
