Karpos Alagan 2.0 jacket

KARPOS Alagna 2.0 Jacket

Description

The KARPOS Alagna 2.0 Jacket is engineered for demanding ski mountaineers and athletes seeking high-intensity performance. Its hybrid construction strategically combines a windproof, thermal front with a highly breathable back for optimal thermoregulation during strenuous ascents. Featuring an athletic ´Dynamic Fit´ and stretch fabrics, it ensures complete freedom of movement. Practicality is key with harness-compatible chest pockets, internal skin pockets, and a streamlined, hoodless design for efficient layering. This jacket offers exceptional breathability and is ideal for ski mountaineering, trail running, and fast hiking.

Experience the pinnacle of active insulation and weather protection with a jacket designed for those who move fast and light in the mountains. This piece excels in providing targeted protection where you need it most. The front panel acts as a robust shield against biting winds and cold, protecting your core during rapid descents or on exposed ridgelines. In contrast, the back and underarm areas are built for maximum air permeability, allowing excess heat and perspiration to escape rapidly. This intelligent body-mapping prevents the cycle of sweating and chilling, keeping you dry, comfortable, and focused on your performance from the base to the summit.

Unrestricted mobility is at the heart of the Alagna 2.0´s design. The athletic ´Dynamic Fit´ is tailored to work with your body, eliminating excess material while the advanced stretch fabrics allow for a complete and unhindered range of motion. Whether you are executing a perfect kick-turn on a steep skin track or powering up a technical trail, this jacket moves as an extension of you. To ensure a secure and sealed fit, the design incorporates elastic trim at the bottom of the jacket and around the sleeve ends, effectively blocking out drafts and keeping it perfectly in place, even when worn under a climbing harness or a backpack.

Functionality is built into every detail to support your mountain objectives. A high-quality, full-length front zipper allows for rapid ventilation adjustments on the move. The two large zippered chest pockets are strategically placed for easy access, remaining clear of harness and pack straps. Inside, you´ll discover two spacious, open-mesh pockets, perfectly sized for stashing your skins during transitions to keep them warm and pliable for the next ascent. The refined, hoodless design minimizes bulk around the neck, facilitating seamless and comfortable layering with an outer shell jacket in harsher conditions.
