Karpos Marmolada jacket

KARPOS Marmolada Jacket - Men´s Hybrid Hardshell

Engineered for the dynamic demands of ski mountaineering and versatile alpine adventures, the KARPOS Marmolada Jacket for men is the ultimate hybrid shell. It is meticulously designed to provide the perfect balance of weather protection, thermal regulation, and unrestricted freedom of movement. Whether you are powering up a steep ascent or navigating a challenging descent, this jacket adapts to your body´s needs and the mountain´s changing conditions, ensuring you perform at your peak in complete comfort.

The genius of the Marmolada Jacket lies in its intelligent, body-mapped construction. It combines two distinct types of fabric to deliver performance precisely where it´s needed most. On the areas most exposed to the elements—the hood, shoulders, upper sleeves, and lower hem—a robust, fully waterproof and windproof hardshell fabric provides an impenetrable barrier against snow, rain, and biting winds. This strategic placement ensures you stay dry and protected from the harshest weather. For the back, underarms, and core front panel, a highly breathable and exceptionally stretch fabric is used. This allows excess heat and moisture to escape rapidly during high-exertion activities like skinning uphill, preventing the chilling effect of sweat buildup and guaranteeing maximum mobility for every pole plant and technical move.

Every feature of this men´s jacket is built for mountain functionality. The fully adjustable, helmet-compatible hood offers a secure and protective fit, shielding your face without impeding peripheral vision. Two large, zippered chest pockets are positioned high for easy access even while wearing a climbing harness or a backpack hip belt. Inside, two generous open-mesh pockets provide the perfect storage for ski skins, keeping them warm and ready for the next transition, or for stashing gloves and other essentials. This synthetic jacket offers a light layer of thermal insulation, making it a true all-in-one solution for most winter days. The regular fit allows for comfortable layering, while the Velcro wrist cuffs and adjustable drawcord at the bottom of the jacket seal out drafts and snow, locking in warmth.

The KARPOS Marmolada Jacket is more than just a piece of clothing; it´s a reliable piece of mountain equipment. Its combination of waterproof, windproof, thermal, and stretch properties makes it the definitive choice for alpinists who refuse to compromise on performance, protection, or comfort.
