Description summary

Conquer any adventure in the Kilpi METRIX-W jacket. This versatile, lightweight, and packable women´s waterproof jacket offers year-round protection with its 10.000mm SIBERIUM 3-layer fabric, taped seams, and waterproof zippers. Designed for comfort and freedom of movement with a loose fit, it features a helmet-compatible hood, adjustable collar with ventilation, and ample pockets including a ski pass pocket. The Kilpi METRIX-M is a men´s waterproof jacket designed to be worn all year round during various sports or leisure activities.

It is made of SIBERIUM material with a water column of 20000 mm/m2/24h, which in combination with sealed seams and waterproof zippers reliably protects against the wind and rain.

The jacket is very light, easy to pack and maintain.

The hood with reinforced visor and drawstring is spacious enough to fit over a helmet.

The asymmetrical design of the zippers catches your eye at first glance.

The width of the collar can be adjusted with an extra zipper.

The perforated insert in the collar together with the ventilation zips in the armpits improve micro-ventilation.

The jacket offers two zippered pockets with waterproof zippers, a sleeve pocket for ski passes and a removable snow proof collar inside the jacket.

The sleeve hems can be tightened with Velcro fasteners and the bottom hem of the jacket with an elasticated drawstring.

The internationally used RECCO feature increases your chances of being located in the event of an accident.

The METRIX-M jacket will make you feel relaxed and comfortable thanks to its contoured, loose fit that does not restrict you during sport.

Soft, Flexible Fabric Makes It Easy to Move

I used this as my ski jacket for one full season. The fabric is very soft and flexible, making it easy to move in and allowing me to ski without feeling restricted. I chose the black version and paired it with black ski pants. Its slim silhouette makes me look streamlined, according to my friends. The fluorescent-colored zippers against the black fabric add a nice accent and help the jacket stand out from my friends’ ski wear, which I really like. However, while it is easy to move in, it is a little thinner than the GORE-TEX jacket I used previously. On extremely cold days, you may feel a little chilly on the lifts unless you adjust your mid-layer and base layer accordingly. On the other hand, the ventilation zippers make it comfortable to wear even in early spring. As for waterproofing, I had no problems at all while using it at ski resorts, and I stayed dry even on snowy days. I do wish it had a few more interior pockets, though
