Kilpi Willie long sleeve base layer

Kilpi WILLIE-J Children´s Long Sleeve Thermal Base Layer Top

Equip your young adventurer for any season with the Kilpi WILLIE-J, the ultimate children´s long sleeve functional top designed to keep them warm, dry, and comfortable during all their favourite activities. Whether they´re hitting the ski slopes, exploring a hiking trail, or just enjoying a chilly day of play, the WILLIE-J is the perfect foundation for their layering system.

The Kilpi WILLIE-J is a children´s functional long sleeve top with a standing collar.

It is the ideal base layer for sport or outdoor activities.

The OPTI-DRY material wicks sweat and moisture away from the skin, is pleasantly warm, quick-drying and adequately stretchy.

The flat seams are gentle on the skin and do not irritate.

The Kilpi WILLIE-J is available in several modern colour combinations for both girls and boys.

High-Performance OPTI-DRY Technology

At the heart of the WILLIE-J is the innovative OPTI-DRY fabric technology. This high-performance synthetic material is engineered to perform when it matters most. It actively pulls sweat and moisture away from the skin and transfers it to the surface of the fabric, where it can evaporate quickly. This process is crucial for preventing the post-activity chill that occurs when sweat cools on the skin. By keeping your child dry, the WILLIE-J helps maintain a stable and comfortable body temperature, allowing them to focus on the fun, not the cold. The fabric is also pleasantly warm, providing an essential layer of thermal insulation without adding unnecessary bulk.

Designed for Unrestricted Movement and Comfort

We know that kids are always on the move. That’s why the Kilpi WILLIE-J is designed with an adequately stretchy fabric that moves with them, not against them. From reaching for a ski pole to climbing a tree, this base layer ensures complete freedom of movement and a non-restrictive fit. To further enhance comfort, the entire garment is constructed with flatlock seams. These low-profile seams are incredibly gentle on the skin, eliminating the risk of chafing or irritation, even during prolonged wear and under other layers of clothing. The high round, standing collar provides extra protection and warmth for the neck, sealing out drafts on colder days.

Versatile and Practical for Every Adventure

More than just a ski base layer, the WILLIE-J is a versatile staple for any active child´s wardrobe. Its thermal and quick-drying properties make it perfect for a wide range of sports and outdoor pursuits, including snowboarding, hiking, running, or cycling in cool weather. Its T-shirt style and soft feel also make it a comfortable and cozy top to wear on its own during transitional seasons or as a warm pajama top on cold nights. The durable, easy-care material means it’s ready for the next adventure after a quick wash, making it a practical choice for busy families.
