KONG ITALY Ergo Threaded Snap Hook – Ergonomic Excellence and Uncompromising Safety

Discover the perfect balance of lightweight design, robust strength, and superior handling with the KONG ITALY Ergo Threaded Snap Hook. A pinnacle of Italian engineering for climbing equipment, this carabiner is meticulously crafted for climbers who demand reliability and precision in every piece of gear. Whether you are sport climbing, trad climbing, or mountaineering, the Ergo is designed to be a trusted companion on your harness.

At its core, the Ergo is a compact and lightweight carabiner that defies its small size with an impressively high tensile strength. This exceptional strength-to-weight ratio ensures it provides maximum security without weighing you down, making it an ideal choice for long routes and alpine ascents where every gram counts.

One of the most celebrated features of the Ergo is its unique, ergonomic shape. It has been specifically designed to offer comfortable and secure handling, even for individuals with smaller hands. This makes it a preferred option for women, children, and any climber who finds standard-sized carabiners cumbersome. The intuitive design allows for quick and confident manipulation, ensuring smooth operation when clipping ropes or building anchors.

The bent D-shape is an innovation that significantly enhances performance. This intelligent geometry provides a wider gate opening, making clipping and unclipping ropes effortless. Furthermore, the D-shape is engineered to optimally distribute the load along the carabiner´s major axis—its strongest point—thereby maximizing its strength and durability under tension. Its slim profile ensures it occupies minimal space on your gear loops, allowing you to carry more equipment without the bulk.

A key element for seamless operation is the integrated Keylock system. The snag-free design of the nose and gate interface prevents the carabiner from catching on ropes, slings, or harness loops. This critical feature eliminates frustrating snags during critical moments, ensuring fluid and safe handling when you need it most.

Main Features:

* Ergonomic Handling: The bent D-shape provides an improved gate opening and enhanced capabilities for easy manipulation.
* Compact Design: A slim, streamlined profile results in a small footprint on your harness, saving valuable space.
* Snag-Free Operation: The advanced Keylock system prevents catching on ropes and gear for safer, smoother clipping.
* Individually Inspected: For ultimate peace of mind, every single carabiner is rigorously tested piece by piece before leaving the factory, guaranteeing its reliability and compliance with the highest safety standards.

The KONG ITALY Ergo Threaded Snap Hook is more than just a piece of climbing equipment; it´s a testament to a commitment to safety, performance, and quality. When your adventure demands gear you can implicitly trust, the Ergo delivers confidence and control in a compact, powerful package
