KONG ITALY Guide Snap Hook - High-Performance Climbing Carabiner

Experience the pinnacle of Italian engineering and safety with the KONG ITALY Guide snap hook, a premium carabiner meticulously crafted for the most demanding climbers. This heavy load aluminum carabiner is the result of decades of manufacturing expertise, delivering unparalleled reliability when you need it most. Specifically designed for climbing and the use on quickdraws, the Guide is an essential piece of equipment for sport climbers and mountaineers who refuse to compromise on quality and performance. Its robust construction and intelligent design features provide the confidence you need to push your limits on the rock.

The performance of the KONG Guide begins with its ergonomic shape and intuitive handling. The bent gate allows an easy insertion of the rope, making it incredibly fast and fluid to clip, even in strenuous situations or when you´re feeling the pump at the crux of a route. This crucial feature saves you energy and allows you to maintain focus. Furthermore, the innovative Keylock system on the nose of the carabiner is a game-changer for efficiency. This snag-free design ensures that the carabiner won´t catch on your rope, harness, or bolt hangers, allowing for smooth and swift clipping and unclipping every single time.

Safety is paramount, and the Guide´s design reflects this in every detail. The D shape transfers the majority of the load on the main axis of the carabiner, which is the most resistant. This classic and time-tested design ensures optimal load distribution, maximizing the strength of the carabiner exactly where it´s needed during a fall. To enhance longevity for both your gear and your rope, the contact surfaces are wider to reduce wear and improve the passage of the rope. This not only prolongs the life of the carabiner but also protects your climbing rope from premature wear and ensures a smoother feel when paying out or taking in slack.

This is a high quality product entirely developed and produced in Italy, embodying a tradition of excellence in manufacturing. For ultimate peace of mind, every single carabiner is tested piece by piece before it leaves the factory, guaranteeing it meets and exceeds rigorous safety standards. When you clip a KONG Guide, you are clipping a piece of gear that has been individually verified for its strength and integrity.
