Have to say first off, these runner's are amazing.. Lot's of comfort with stability and the grip so far has been great. I'd advise going up at least half a size if not a full size. If you are unsure, measure your feet after a full day of walking about and you'll be ballpark on what size is good for you.

Bought these last minute for my 120km, 5800 vertical meter race. Did 5km run in them to check and was happy before big run. After 120km I had no blisters! My only complaints were that I did have a little bruising as I tied my shoes a bit too tight (so where the laces are) and I nearly rolled my ankle once because of course the shoes are quite high (still there are even higher ones) so they are no perfect for very technical terrain. But for my run they were almost perfect!

Those are easily the best shoes for mixed trail running. Stable, fit is great (half size up from your usual Hokas, full size up from Salomon/Brooks for me). They are light, feel lively and springy even on the tarmac sections, yet grip well on single tracks and gravel. Built in gater is perfect, nothing goes in the shoe. I dont have any gripe with this one, which is a first and only time in my running career (more than 30 different pairs tested).

I typically wear a 10.5 in most of my shoes, should I go up to 11?

In my experience, I would definitely go up a half size. The sock-like upper is very good, but it´s very tight, and the toe box is thin. I´m not entirely comfortable with my usual size.

I was US11.5 in the LS Akasha, and I bought the same 11.5 in the Prodigio Pro, and the fit was perfect. Im normally a US11 in Salomon and Hoka

That depends on how snug your Boulders are. My foot is 28.1 cm long, and in size 46 Prodigio Pro there's not enough room above the toes. Size EU 46.5 fits just right - even though it's a bit looser than half a size down, you can tighten the laces so that the foot stays stable in the shoe and the toes have more room.

La Sportiva offers some intermediate sizes for a more precise fit. The Prodigio Pro generally runs very small, and you should go half to a whole size (for me, a whole half was still too short) larger than in other shoes (Nike, HOKA, etc.).
