Hi I have read reviews elsewhere that these shoes run large but some say they run small? Please can you advise? I am a UK size 7. What size for this brand and style of shoe should I buy? Thanks

I buy the same size for La Sportiva Spire as for other walking boots or shoes, so I guess I find them true to size. I buy size 40, so 6.5 in UK terms. Incidentally, in case you haven’t bought walking shoes before, that is one or two sizes bigger than I buy for other footwear, 38 or 39, since feet expand when on hikes and you need a good inch or so between the end of your toes and the boots. Apologies if this was unnecessary information. And the great thing about La Sportiva Spire is that you can lace them quite tight over the instep, so ideal if you need a wide toe box but otherwise have narrowish feet. Hope that helps.

Hello. I bought shoes for my wife. As for the British sizes, I can't say much, but the European size was exactly what the wife wears. So if you find your EU counterpart, it should be good. Anyway, the shoes are great, used for mountain hikes, so far there is no sign of use.
