TX CANYON HIKING SHOES, are the new hiking shoes from LA SPORTIVA. It has a high-cut design that protects the ankles. They are stable and light for long days in the mountains.

They have a mixed closure with a velcro strap and adjustable laces with a padded tongue. The upper part is made with Ariaprene technology in four layers that absorbs moisture and allows a much faster drying.

Its midsole is made of recycled EVA rubber that provides maximum cushioning. Its Vibram IdoGrip sole features deep studs that provide greater grip and traction.

Whether you’re trying out canyoneering for the first time or are already a pro - the TX Canyon will be the shoe for you.

- The last is built off the TX4 Mid GTX, with a +2 size extension to account for use with neoprene socks
- Eco materials come from recycled raw materials including PFC-free coating, recycled laces and an EVA midsole with 7% recycled contents - all contributing to a reduced environmental impact
- The Ariaprene upper is a toxic-free laminated package with a synthetic foam core and biodegradable properties (closed loop scrap recycling)
- Rounded perimeter and heel keeps the shoe from being pinched between rocks
- Balanced outsole with climbing zone platform, deep lugs, flat tread and trail-bite heel for optimal performance

I've tried five brands of canyoning boots, and none fit as well as this one. I'm tall and thin, and all my previous boots, even with a tight fit, didn't provide as good a fit as this one. The level of grip, compared to the soles of the Adidas, I'd say is an 8/10. The confidence of having a better-protected ankle and footwear that properly adapts to the shape of your foot is an 11/10.

They are super comfortable, light and have a very good grip. I felt that they were a combination of a rigid sole that protected my foot as I progressed through the canyon, and the flexibility to make different movements on the descents down the waterfalls. I really liked the boot.
