Comfortable, totally waterproof (I've been out already on many long wet walks), and very sturdy. The rubber toes and sole makes them ideal for scrambling. I've used them on snow and ice with crampons. They can do the lot.

I do not advise. These boots are not high altitude alpine boots. Even though this is a hybrid model, it is decir, it allows you to take long walks through the forest or climb rocky terrain with good grip - even using ferratas -, it is especially good for Hiking and Trekking. It is a boot with a very good sole and with a good grip (Vibram MegaGrip), but flexible (hybrid). For 5000 meters of altitude you should buy a model of the alpine range "Mountaineering" and in the "Approach", with a harder sole and a much more protective set.
