Designed as the second stage of filtration for your compatible LifeStraw system, this advanced filter is your key to enjoying superior, great-tasting water, whether you´re trekking through the backcountry, traveling internationally, or simply improving the quality of your tap water at home. This essential replacement part maintains the high performance you expect from your LifeStraw device, keeping you hydrated and healthy on all your adventures.

The primary benefit of this replacement filter is its remarkable ability to transform the taste and quality of your water. Don´t let unpleasant odors or a chemical aftertaste ruin your hydration. This powerful filter excels at improving water clarity and flavor by significantly reducing chlorine and organic chemical matter. The result is crisp, clean water that is refreshing and enjoyable to drink, free from the common impurities that affect palatability. It´s the perfect way to make water from a questionable tap, river, or stream taste like it came from a pure, natural spring.

Beyond just improving taste, this filter offers an essential layer of health protection. The integrated activated carbon and ion exchange technology is engineered for superior contaminant reduction. It is highly effective at reducing heavy metals like lead, ensuring your water is significantly safer to consume. This is especially critical when filtering water in urban areas or from sources where lead contamination is a concern. Independently tested and verified to meet the stringent NSF 42 standard for chlorine reduction and the crucial NSF 53 standard for the reduction of lead, you can drink with complete confidence, knowing your filter performs to the highest industry benchmarks.

Each LIFESTRAW Flex Replacement Carbon Filter provides long-lasting and reliable performance. It is capable of filtering up to 100 liters (26 gallons) of water before needing a replacement, offering a convenient and cost-effective solution for months of clean water. This replacement filter is specifically designed for a perfect fit and optimal function with your LifeStraw Flex, LifeStraw Flex with Gravity Bag, and LifeStraw Play systems, making maintenance simple, quick, and straightforward.

LifeStraw´s commitment to quality and safety is unwavering. Every filter undergoes rigorous testing in our own accredited laboratory and is independently tested to meet the demanding protocols established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and NSF/ANSI international standards for safe drinking water.
