The RENEGADE has stood for exactly one attribute in particular over decades:the perfect fit.

To take this feature to the next level, LOWA has added a few special details that make the new RENEGADE EVO GTX MID Ws even more refined.

Attention was paid, for example, to providing the upper with additional comfort by using just one single piece of material for the inside of the forefoot area.

This refinement eliminated the need for superfluous seams, so that the nubuck leather can now flexibly adjust to the individual shape of the wearer´s foot bones, preventing friction and taking pressure off the big toe joint.

The dual-zone lacing system also supports this effect by making adjustments to individual needs even easier, thanks to the redesigned locking hooks.

The waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membrane is a further guarantee for heightened comfort.

In addition, the new RENEGADE features a newly designed sole package:the directly injected midsole comprises two impact-absorbing components.

The first layer is made of LOWA® DYNAPU® and the second of a firmer element that works in tandem with the CROSS OVER FRAME to provide optimal guidance.

The new VIBRAM-RENE-TRAC® sole provides dependable grip.

These boots are super lightweight and comfortable. I do a lot of dog walking in lots of different terrains and they have stayed dry and comfortable throughout. Easy to lace and get a snug fit and just as easy to undo without getting dirty. I have also used these at an extremely muddy music festival and they were a godsend. I was able to keep moving , have warm feet and dance without feeling like there was a ton weight attached to my feet. These are also true to size. I went for a 4.5 and I still have enough room for a decent wool sock for the winter without feeling cramped. These will be my go to brand and boot in the future if they keep up the good work on my feet.
