It provides reliable warmth with 800 cuin fill power made from responsibly sourced hydrophobic down that insulates even in wet conditions. The recycled, abrasion-resistant Pertex® Quantum outer fabric offers maximum thermal performance and keeps moisture out. This lightweight can be compactly stowed in one of its own backpack- and harness-friendly pockets. Together with the elastic hood, it stands as a reliable mountain companion for many years to come.

Warmth-to-weight:
- Even when every gram counts on the trail, you need clothing that provides reliable warmth. A high warmth-to-weight ratio means lots of warmth with little weight.

Durability:
- For your garment to last you a long time despite plenty of abrasion or rock contact, it has to be hard-wearing. Do you weigh every gram and define absolute freedom of movement as the most important characteristic. Then less abrasion-resistant, lighter clothing can be an advantage.

Warmth:
- Down, synthetic fibers, wool - they are all tasked with storing heat and protecting against cold. The warming layer can vary in weight, breathability and packability. Exactly how warm depends on the intensity of the sport, the outside temperature and the space in your pack.

- On multi-day adventures or other activities with a lot of equipment, space in the backpack is at a premium. Similarly, for those aiming to travel fast and light, packability is essential. This factor may be less relevant if protection and durability are the top priorities.

Windproofing:
- Windproof clothing keeps you from getting cold on breezy peaks or blustery trails and minimizes the wind chill effect, which is your body´s heat loss accelerated by wind. Pay special attention to this factor when your pace is high and conditions are cool and windy.

PFC-free DWR:
- Perfluorinated compounds (PFCs) are often used for waterproofing but are practically non-biodegradable. Mammut is committed to replacing non-biodegradable fabric treatments with more sustainable high-performance alternatives.

Recycled:
- This product contains recycled materials with uncompromised performance and functionality. Choosing recycled materials reduces the use of virgin resources and helps promote a more circular economy.

Bluesign® Product:
- The bluesign® System is a solution for sustainable textile production that eliminates the use of harmful substances. Bluesign® Products guarantee a responsible use of resources with a minimum impact on people and the environment.

Mammut Down 800 cuin:
- The fill power of down is rated in cuin (cubic inches per ounce): the higher the cuin rating, the greater the wadding and therefore thermal insulation per weight.

Pertex® Quantum®:
- Pertex® Quantum uses a tightly woven structure to create a lightweight, soft fabric that offers maximum insulation.

Responsible down:
- This product contains down and feathers sourced from well-treated animals. Collection from live birds (live-plucking) as well as force-feeding are strictly prohibited.


Care:

- Do not use chlorine-based bleach
- Do not dry clean or use solvents to remove stains
- Do not iron or treat with steam
- Tumble dry gentle
- Machine wash on normal cycle (max. 30° C)
