Mammut Skintrack Softshell softshell jacket

MAMMUT Skintrack Softshell Jacket for Women

Engineered for the ambitious female ski tourer and mountain enthusiast, the MAMMUT Skintrack Softshell Jacket is your ultimate shield against unpredictable alpine conditions. This technical soft shell jacket masterfully balances robust weather protection with outstanding breathability, ensuring you stay comfortable and focused, from the challenging ascent to the rewarding descent. It is the perfect companion for demanding days where performance and reliability are paramount.

Experience superior comfort and protection with this advanced women´s jacket. Its specialized 3-layer construction is designed to be highly windproof, deflecting biting gusts on exposed ridges, while also offering dependable water-repellent properties to shed light snow and moisture. This durable outer barrier allows you to push through changing weather without hesitation. The thermal qualities of the fabric provide essential insulation, trapping body heat for warmth on colder days, yet it excels in breathability, actively wicking moisture away from your body during high-exertion climbs to prevent overheating and the subsequent chill.

Functionality is at the core of the Skintrack´s design. The jacket features a fully adjustable, helmet-compatible hood, providing crucial protection for your head and face without compromising peripheral vision or mobility. For rapid temperature regulation, long two-way underarm zippers offer immediate and effective ventilation, allowing you to dump excess heat on the go. The pockets are strategically placed higher on the torso, ensuring they remain fully accessible even when wearing a climbing harness or a backpack with a hip belt.

Designed with an athletic fit tailored for the female form, this soft shell moves with you. The articulated sleeves and stretch properties of the material grant complete, unrestricted freedom of movement, essential for dynamic activities like kick-turns, ice axe placements, and downhill skiing. Adjustable cuffs with high-quality hook-and-loop fasteners create a secure seal over gloves, while the adjustable hem allows you to lock out drafts and customize the fit. The MAMMUT Skintrack Softshell Jacket is more than just an outer layer; it is a piece of technical equipment built to empower your mountain adventures.
