Mammut Stretch gloves

Although it’s designed for hiking, our Stretch Glove is also great for everyday wear in winter. It is made from a comfortable Lycra® material with a brushed inner layer. This makes it the perfect inner glove. But it also impresses with its touchscreen compatibility.

Packability:
- On multi-day adventures or other activities with a lot of equipment, space in the backpack is at a premium. Similarly, for those aiming to travel fast and light, packability is essential. This factor may be less relevant if protection and durability are the top priorities.

Breathability:
- Especially for fast-paced activities, you need breathable clothing that regulates your body temperature, wicks away sweat, allows air to pass through, and so keeps you comfortable.

Stretchability:
- Outdoor clothing must not be constricting. It must be elastic without losing its shape and should give you maximum freedom of movement. The more flexibility your activity requires, the more important stretchy material is.

Lightweight:
- We design every product with performance in mind. That´s why weight, in combination with functionality, always plays a major role. The lighter the style, the freer and more agile you can move. The more durable and dense it is, the more protection it offers.

Quick drying:
- To prevent you from losing heat during a break at the summit, your clothing must wick sweat and moisture away from the skin and allow it to evaporate quickly. The more you sweat during an activity, the more important it is for it to dry quickly and have breathability.

Warmth-to-weight ratio:
- Even when every gram counts on the trail, you need clothing that provides reliable warmth. A high warmth-to-weight ratio means lots of warmth with little weight.
