When you´re high on an ice flow or navigating a technical ridgeline, your gear can´t be a distraction. The XT Glove is engineered to feel like a natural extension of your hand, providing the dexterity, grip, and protection you need to move efficiently and securely in demanding mountain environments. This versatile, full-fingered glove is a unisex design, expertly crafted to fit the hands of both men and women who push the limits.

XT Glove.

Built for swinging an ice axe but ideal for any outdoor pursuit where you need a water-resistant, super stretchy and flexible glove.

Falcon Grip articulation for dexterity and easy gripping and has a nose wipe since it´s tough to find a tissue on a wall of ice.

The undercuff design tucks into your jacket sleeve and rounds out the comfort features.

Uncompromised Dexterity and Superior Grip

At the heart of the XT Glove´s performance is its anatomically considered design. The pre-curved Falcon Grip articulation mirrors the natural resting position of your hand, significantly reducing fatigue and making it easier to securely handle ice tools, ropes, and carabiners. This is further enhanced by the revolutionary Pittards® Oil Tac Atomic Leather on the palm and fingers, a material renowned for its exceptional, tacky grip in both wet and dry conditions. This ensures a confident hold on your tools when you need it most, providing tactile feedback that allows for intricate movements. The super stretchy and flexible fabric moves with you, eliminating the restrictive feeling common in lesser gloves and allowing for complete freedom of movement.

Advanced Climate Control and Comfort

Staying warm in the mountains is about more than just insulation; it´s about managing moisture. The Marmot XT Glove excels with its intelligent design. The exterior features a highly water-resistant stretch fabric that shields your hands from snow, spindrift, and moisture, keeping the elements at bay. Inside, a soft DriClime® lining works tirelessly to wick sweat and moisture away from your skin. This moisture management system is critical for preventing the dangerous chill that occurs when activity levels drop, ensuring your hands remain dry, warm, and comfortable throughout your adventure.

Thoughtful Features for the Modern Alpinist

Every detail of the XT Glove is built with intention. The sleek, low-profile undercuff design is a key feature, allowing the gloves to slide easily and cleanly underneath your jacket cuffs. This creates a perfect seal that locks in warmth and prevents snow, ice, and wind from getting inside, offering a superior layering system without any bulk or bunching. For those unavoidable moments on a cold ascent, a soft nose wipe panel is conveniently integrated, providing a practical solution when you´re far from civilization. These gloves are more than protection; they are a purpose-built tool for anyone serious about their mountain pursuits, from ice climbing and mountaineering to backcountry skiing and cold-weather hiking.
