This is my third pair of Merrell hiking boots. Once again, I'm absolutely satisfied with the quality. The boots fit perfectly, molding themselves to my feet after just a few minutes of wear. This makes them very comfortable while still providing excellent support. They're not as narrow as other models I've tried. The boots are very well-made and truly waterproof. The sole is sturdy but not too hard, providing a very good and balanced walking experience. And especially now in the cold season, they keep my feet nice and warm. I use them several times a week for hikes with my dog in all kinds of terrain. Their suitability for long distances (over 20 km) is also outstanding – no pressure points or signs of fatigue. All in all, I can highly recommend these boots and will always choose Merrell again. Therefore, five stars, which are absolutely deserved.

The hiking shoes are great, very comfortable. I have a pair of size EU48 hiking shoes from Kathmandu, which are on the slightly small size. This time I have ordered size EU49 and they are the perfect size. Very pleased with the product. However, I am not happy with the shipping - order placed on 15.07.2025, package pickup 23.07.2025, package delivery 11.08.2025 - all whilst the shoes were shown as in stock for immediate delivery. If I had known it would take this length of time to deliver the package, I would have arranged for a quicker shipping or simply not placed the order. Delivery is showing as 3 to 4 days for the same shoes on TrekkInn today - a flight of fantasy …. !!!!

Pros: - Very comfortable for one-day routes on not too hard terrain. - The very resistant GTX, repels water for not too long stays. - Spectacular grip. - A very cool design that looks good even with street clothes. Cons: - If you have a very wide instep, this shoe is quite narrow in that area. - The GTX makes the foot lose breathability. - For longer routes or on harder terrain such as asphalt or rocks, after a long time walking, the sole of the foot starts to hurt, as it has a very rigid sole.

Comfortable for wide feet, and well suited for rocky terrain and for hiking with a heavier backpack in multi day hikes. For these types of hikes they are better than the Moab Speed for example because the sole is stiffer and it offers more support.

Excellent comfortable shoes with good grips and tough soles. I ordered them on 20th February and the delivery was delayed until 31st March. This coincided with a holiday so I was unable to collect them till a week later. The delivery was by Royal Mail signed for so I had to get it redirected to a post office. Whilst I was on holiday I received an email saying if the package wasn’t collected in 2 days it would be returned to sender! Fortunately I got back in time.

Usually uses a 44-45 in the EU standard size. Bought a 46, it's fine with a thin tracking sock, but forget an extra sock, there's no room for it, so you have to go up to a 47.

The shoe has a pleasant appearance, is very light and compared to my previous ones you can hardly feel it on your feet, which means it is very comfortable To wear. If you have already used some moab you already know what there is, and that is why you repeat. If you don't know them, they are lightweight mountain shoes, with Goretex (you can put your foot in a bucket of water) and with a vibrating sole (dry they have good traction, in the wet I haven't tried them yet, but other previous ones complied very reasonably) very comfortable. But how comfortable. To put a hit on it, which costs, the bellows of the tongue could be somewhat higher. And it has never happened to me, but since the "eyelets" are made of fabric, not metal, if you pull the laces with a lot of travel when tying your shoes, I suppose that in the long run you could cut the "eyelet", but never to me it happened to me. And if those are the biggest drawbacks that can be put... Anyway, I've already had several moab in a row. I took 1 size larger than the size suggestion indicated (I took the same size as I normally have) and certainly should not have size smaller.
