My hiking life has changed! They are perfect: flexible, lightweight, grippy, and from the first few times without having to do it, even with fragile feet. Very waterproof but remain cool and breathable even in hot weather. I tested large slippery slabs, rocky paths, dead leaves (wet), earth, no complaints. Even on asphalt, they don't heat up. As i saud un early reviews again i go for the MOAB . For my type of work around the farm and working ( feeding, mucking etc) doing an average of more than 22.000 steps in all sort of terrain MOAB`s are my Choice . Fully waterproof almost until the very hand . Each pair lasts me 11 months and i used them on a daily basis .

Hello, these shoes are really very good. I used to buy Colombia but had issues in rainy days despite they were waterproof breathable. Merrell is perfect. My size is changing from brand to brand model to model. However normally 42,5 europe. I recommend buying one size bigger. 42,5 is still okay but I would be more comfortable with 43. Next time I will buy 43. regards

Good afternoon. I think it is a rather personal question, which depends a bit on taste and habit. It is also not good for the boot to be too big, to avoid chafing. Remember that, in principle, you will wear it with mountain socks, somewhat thicker than usual (although thin sports socks are also acceptable). If you wear 38-38.5, I think that half a size larger (39) would be enough (you won´t be wrong with 1 size larger either). Regards
