Conquer cold with the Montane Glacium Hoodie. This super lightweight, packable jacket offers exceptional warmth thanks to its ExpeDRY™ duck down and wide baffle construction. Featuring PERTEX® QUANTUM Pro fabric with a water-resistant coating, it sheds spindrift and provides durable protection. A helmet-compatible hood, harness-compatible pockets, and mountain fit ensure performance in harsh conditions

Super lightweight, highly packable and exceptionally warm. The Montane men´s Glacium hoodie utilises the same fabric and technical know-how of our high altitude Apex 8000 Down Jacket.

Featuring a helmet compatible hood, this down jacket brings pinnacle technology to every mountain setting. The PERTEX® QUANTUM Pro fabrics have a very durable construction and a ultra-thin water-resistant coating that will shed spindrift.

The hoodie uses 50D Pertex® Quantum Pro in high-wear areas for maximum durability and 30D throughout the body to reduce weight and maximise packability.

With a wide baffle for increased warmth and reduced cold spots, gear compatible chest and hand pockets, and a mountain fit that allows layering. The Glacium Hoodie is built to provide durable protection in cold, harsh mountain environments.

- Using PERTEX® Quantum Pro ripstop reinforcement
- 50D Used through the shoulders and arms
- 30D Used through the body
- Treated with an ultra-thin water-resistant coating, and durable construction with a nonfluorocarbon water repellent finish
- ExpeDRY Duck Down: 700+ fill power . Dries faster and stays dry in high humidity and extreme conditions
- PEAQ Lining: Lightweight recycled nylon plain woven fabric with a nonfluorocarbon water repellent finish
- Construction: Wide baffle construction, reduction of vertical seams and enhanced pattern cutting combines with offset seam intersections to increase warmth, reduce cold spots and inprove durability and comfort
- Adjustable hem & Self-sealing cuffs: Adjustable hood and hem for complete protection and self-sealing glove compatible cuffs to lock in warmth

Technology:

Pertex® Quantum Pro. Thermal Efficiency:
- Windproof, durable and highly water-resistant, Pertex® Quantum Pro in the Glacium down jacket utilises a combination of a 30D ripstop and 50D ripstop reinforcement fabric in high wear areas. The fabric features an ultra-thin water-resistant coating on the inside of the fabric and a durable water repellent finish (with no intentional use of PFAS) on the outside to provide reliable weather resistant protection in the harshest of conditions. The tightly woven yarn construction traps warm air inside the jacket and improves the efficiency of the down insulation.

Expedry™ Duck Down. Fast-Drying Real-Gold Tech:
- The Glacium down jacket Jacket is filled with ExpeDRY™ duck down, which has non-toxic gold particles bonded to it for fast-drying performance and industry-leading warmth. The chemical-free technology works because gold particles vibrate water molecules, just like heat does, to speed up evaporation to a rate faster than the water absorption rate of down, while managing moisture from the body.
