Can be used for day hikes or multi day. Well made and thought out. Mesh side pockets and front pocket are huge. Main body access zip mades so much sense. Only downside is the thickness of padding on the shoulder straps. Montaine could have done better here. Overall, loves this backpack for it's versatility and user thoughtfulness.
