Everything is sooo well designed! ! large area for storage. Separate sleeping bag area. The vertical zipper pocket seems more spacious that the reviews say. You can feed a rain jacket or smth not too fluffy. Quality seems excellent. Even though it´s almost new with some small hiking around. I am amazed. Even for the rain cover, the have a separate pocket for that and they added an small hole to drip water! i don´t know if that´s common to all high end product but that seems that they do think about a lot of things. BTW the length is larger than my typical carry-on luggage on a trip. So i believe no chance to pass it as your personal bag, since this metal frame, but it is comparable to my luggage so i guess you can use this as your carry on bag.
