OSPREY Ultralight Raincover | High-Visibility Waterproof Protection for Backpacks

Don´t let a sudden downpour ruin your adventure or damage your essential gear. The OSPREY Ultralight Raincover is the ultimate safeguard for your backpack, providing instant, reliable protection when the skies open up. Engineered for the modern explorer, this cover is an indispensable accessory for any hiker, cyclist, or daily commuter who demands performance and peace of mind. Its intelligent design focuses on complete weather defense, exceptional visibility, and feather-light portability, ensuring you´re always prepared for the unexpected.

That rainstorm you´ve been dodging all day has caught up.

You´ll need to quickly ensure your pack and gear is completely protected.

We´ve been continually developing our range of raincovers and have designed a range of ultralight ´High-Vis´ raincovers perfect for defending against downpours.

Designed with the minimalist in mind, each ultralight ´High-Vis´ raincover packs down to roughly the size of a tennis ball and comes with its own pouch for easy storage. Its incredibly low weight means you´ll barely notice it in your pack until you need it, making it the perfect companion for ultralight backpacking and long-distance treks where every gram counts. This efficient packability ensures it´s always on hand, ready to be deployed in seconds.

Safety is paramount, especially in low-light or stormy conditions. The reflective graphics, high visibility material and blinker light attachment mean that even in the worst conditions you´ll always be seen. This focus on visibility makes the OSPREY Ultralight Raincover an essential piece of safety equipment for road cycling, urban commuting, and trail hiking during dawn or dusk. You can move with confidence knowing you are more visible to traffic and other people.

Key Features:

* Reflective Graphic Printing: Strategically placed graphics catch and reflect light, significantly enhancing your visibility to others in dim light and at night.
* High Visibility: The bright, eye-catching main body material ensures you stand out from your surroundings, providing a crucial layer of safety in daylight, fog, and stormy weather.
* Packs into its Own Carry Case: For ultimate convenience and portability, the raincover stuffs into its own integrated, compact pouch, taking up minimal space in your pack.
* LED Bike Light Attachment Point: A dedicated, secure loop allows you to attach a blinker light (not included) for an additional level of active visibility, perfect for cyclists and commuters.
* Taped Seams: Full seam sealing provides a complete waterproof barrier, preventing any water from leaking through stitch lines and guaranteeing your Backpacks and its contents stay bone-dry.

Many useful little details

2020/03/15

Sar

I use this for my osprey talon 44 and it fits perfectly even when the pack is fully packed, with sleeping bags and other equipment hanging all over. The cover can also fold into its own small bag (they are attached to eachother so you don´t lose the small bag). Both the cover and the small bag have nice reflective prints, it has stretchy strings to tighten it around and a YKK claps to to keep it in place on the bag, and best of all: it has a sturdy nice drain hole at the bottom! In case some water makes it way in, it'll slide down and go out from the hole rather than pooling and drenching the bottom of your bag. Really nice little detail.

Good fit but can't go well for how rainproof it is. A little heavier than advertised, 90 grams in the description but weighs 107gr in size L. No dealbreaker and if you cut the bag you end up at about 90gr.

Cover is used for the Osprey Farpoint 55L backpack and easily fits over it. A bit too spacious itself, but luckily the cover can still be tightened. I hope to be able to use the cover for backpacks with larger dimensions, otherwise I think the cover is on the expensive side.

Just got this in and the quality is very top notch. I was unsure about ordering from trekkin.com as their price was to good to be true. Well it turned out the price was fantastic. Trekkinn.com is located in Spain so it took 18 days for me to get my stuff but well worth the wait.
