This thing looks and feels super solid and the added clip-in works great when I´m lowering one of my buddies and his dad who are both between 50-70lbs heavier than me respectively. Pretty pricey piece of gear considering how cheap some of the best locking carabiners out there are, but it´s pretty convenient so if you have the cash and often lower heavier people I´d say go for it
