Petzl Quickstep Footpeg

PETZL QUICKSTEP - Adjustable Progression Footpeg

Elevate your efficiency on the rope with the PETZL QUICKSTEP, a masterfully engineered adjustable progression footpeg designed for climbers, cavers, and rope access professionals who demand reliability and precision. This essential accessory is built to streamline your rope ascents, allowing you to move with greater speed, control, and comfort. By minimizing energy expenditure and maximizing upward progress, the QUICKSTEP transforms challenging ascents into a smooth and manageable process, making it an indispensable part of your vertical kit.

The core benefit of the QUICKSTEP lies in its exceptional adaptability and ergonomic design. Ascending a rope requires a system that works with you, not against you. This footpeg provides the immediate, on-the-fly adjustability needed to fine-tune your position, optimize your body mechanics, and maintain a powerful, efficient stride up the rope. Its intuitive operation ensures that you spend less time fumbling with gear and more time making progress, whether you´re on a big wall, in a deep cave, or working at height. The robust construction ensures it will stand up to the rigors of repeated use in demanding environments, offering peace of mind when you´re high off the ground.

Features:
- Rapid length adjustment via the DoubleBack buckle
- Equipped with a STRING, which holds the carabiner in position and protects the carabiner attachment loop from wear
- 3 mm hole in buckle for attaching a release cord to facilitate adjustment
- Loop on the free end of the webbing for attaching a piton during placement
- Foot retention system helps keeps your foot in the step while jugging

Designed for seamless integration with your existing climbing system, the QUICKSTEP excels when paired with a handled ascender or a chest ascender for rope progression. Its design addresses the common frustrations associated with traditional footloops. As one of the most advanced Footpegs available, its standout feature is the foot retention system, which brilliantly secures your boot within the step. This eliminates the annoying and energy-wasting problem of your foot slipping out mid-ascent, allowing you to maintain a steady rhythm and focus completely on the climb. The integrated STRING not only simplifies carabiner connection but also significantly enhances the longevity of the webbing by protecting a critical wear point. Every detail, from the easy-to-operate DoubleBack buckle to the thoughtful inclusion of a piton loop, is a testament to PETZL´s commitment to practical, user-centric innovation.
