QI´ROC Fergus HMS Snap Hook: The Apex of Versatility and Security

Discover the QI´ROC Fergus HMS Snap Hook, a cornerstone piece of climbing equipment engineered for climbers who demand reliability, versatility, and uncompromising safety. As a multipurpose HMS carabiner, the Fergus is meticulously designed to be the trusted workhorse of your rack, adeptly handling everything from belaying and rappelling to complex anchor-building. Its exceptional high-resistance construction provides the peace of mind you need when pushing your limits on the rock.

The defining feature of the Fergus is its masterfully engineered geometry. Specifically designed for belaying with dynamic knots, its wide, pear-shaped basket allows a Munter hitch to operate flawlessly, ensuring smooth rope-feed and controlled friction without twists or excessive wear on your rope. This thoughtful design makes it an indispensable tool for both traditional and modern climbing techniques, providing a secure and reliable connection in any situation. The security is further enhanced by a robust, precision-threaded screw gate that closes securely, preventing accidental opening and offering steadfast performance you can count on.

Crafted through an advanced hot-forging process from a high-grade AL-7075 material, the Fergus achieves an optimal balance between strength and weight. This sophisticated manufacturing technique allows for a more complex, ergonomic shape that is both strong and comfortable to handle, without adding unnecessary bulk to your gear. One of the most celebrated features is the integrated Keylock system. The clean, snag-free nose design allows for effortless clipping and unclipping from ropes, slings, and harness gear loops, eliminating the frustration of snagging at critical moments, such as when cleaning an anchor or making a quick transition.

Your safety is paramount, and the QI´ROC Fergus is built to the highest standards of quality assurance. It proudly carries the CE homologation, certified in the UK and adhering to the rigorous EN-12275 safety standard for mountaineering equipment. Going above and beyond industry norms, every single Fergus HMS carabiner undergoes an individual, piece-by-piece functionality test in Spain. This meticulous attention to detail ensures that the carabiner in your hand has been personally verified for perfect performance, offering a level of quality assurance that is second to none.

Whether you´re setting up a top-rope, building a multi-point anchor, or need a reliable partner for belaying and rappelling, the QI´ROC Fergus HMS Snap Hook delivers flawless functionality and robust security.
