Very nice boots. Stiff sole for those of us who like shoes for mountain terrain. At the same time, the shoe is soft at the back edge, which makes it gentler on steep descents. I bought my first Salewa shoes to traverse a 3000m mountain in the summer. I have wide feet and a high instep, so I chose shoes that were larger than my actual foot size, but I adjusted them with thick socks. They fit well even for Japanese feet. They hold the ankle well, so they should be fine even on rocky mountain trails. I´m looking forward to putting them to use in practice soon.

The delivery time for Mexico was longer than expected, but they arrived in good condition. I normally wear size 27.0 in Asics shoes. I ordered these Boots in 27.5 (42.5 EU) and they fit me quite well. I feel like enough extra clearance is needed on the descents and I don't feel like the boot is too big for situations where toe-off is necessary.

I use these boots for doing line work (power lines) in Arizona. These boots are great well rounded boots. From running around on the ground, to working out of my hooks, they hold up and are comfortable. I’ve tried all the other brands typical to the trade, and these by far are the best for me. They breathe good, hold up to the desert heat and don’t feel like I’m walking on solid planks. Highly recommended for linemen.
