The MTN Trainer Lite Mid is a comfortable and supportive mid-cut, 3-season boot that performs well on rock and technical terrain. Carrying more weight, means expending more energy. The climbing lacing, which runs right down to the toe, allows easy customization for greater precision in technical terrain or more relaxed wear. Got the boots today, the fit is amazing. I’m a 6 so went for 6.5 plenty of room in the nicely solid toe box. They look tiny as they lace almost from the toe. The fronts are laced wide so you could pull them in if needed. Really solid round the ankles feels incredibly supportive. I was worried that they would be too ridged as I’m used to Salomon ultra mids but they are light, the sole does flex but it is sturdy. Went straight to the woods for a test walk. No rubbing, my heel is firmly in place. It’s looking incredibly good. And of course they are a stunning boot, design wise these are top of the hill.

The order took 20 days to arrive and was not taxed, for that reason, it was cheaper than any entryway boot from Columbia, North Face and others sold in Brazil. The boot is beautiful, less vibrant colors than it appears in the photos, very well structured and soft. I have a torn ligament in my ankle and I felt a lot of stability. I'm dying to test it out on some trail! I wear a size 35 in Brazil and I bought a European size 37, it fits like a glove.

This is my 4th pair of Salewa Boots (bought other styles here at Trekkin, because I just ❤ Salewa shoes so much). Need I say more? Description is on point. I went a half size bigger as I intend to use this shoes with 2 pairs of socks (which I usually do) and use it more during winter season. They are comfortable, sturdy and a real good looking pair of hiking boots.

these boots are just lovely. they look stylish...the colours are just so good to see in a ladies boot. they withstood heavy rain and huge pools of water and didn’t let any in. they offer good ankle support and excellent grip. i was a little concerned about comfort having ,always gone for a fabric boot previously but they were comfortable too and guarantee no blisters...how about that! i did go up half a size after reading previous reviews and i’m glad i did, lots of room for my double thickness walking socks.

Bought a 37 for my apiglia, which has a precise 37, and the fit is perfect. Much depends on the shape of the foot: you have a narrow sole, in the case of a wide sole, half a size larger might be appropriate. The same applies if it is intended to be used with heavier socks, otherwise the shoe is excellent
