SINGING ROCK Bora GP Screw Carabiner: Uncompromising Safety for Every Climb

Discover the pinnacle of belay safety and performance with the SINGING ROCK Bora GP Screw snap hook, a crucial piece of climbing equipment for any safety-conscious climber. This is an HMS carabiner designed specifically to eliminate the dangers of cross loading. Its intelligent design ensures that it remains correctly positioned on your harness´s belay loop, providing peace of mind and allowing you to focus completely on the climb. Ideal for everything from sport climbing to multi-pitch routes, the Bora GP is engineered for reliability when it matters most.

The core of its innovative safety system is a dedicated safety wire gate. This simple yet highly effective mechanism prevents the carabiner from rotating or flipping into a dangerous, cross-loaded position. By keeping the carabiner perfectly oriented, it guarantees that forces are always applied along the major axis—the strongest part of the carabiner—drastically enhancing your safety margin during belaying and rappelling. This feature has made it an incredibly popular and trusted choice for climbing gyms and rope centres, where consistent safety and durability are paramount.

Engineered for an optimal balance of strength and weight, the Bora GP features a modern hot-forged I-beam construction. This advanced manufacturing process allows for material to be strategically placed where it´s needed for strength, while removing it from non-critical areas. The result is a robust yet lightweight carabiner that won´t weigh you down on your harness. Furthermore, its large, rounded rope-bearing area ensures exceptionally smooth rope glide and minimizes friction. This not only makes for a better belaying experience but also reduces wear on your rope, extending the life of your essential climbing gear. The smooth and easy-to-operate screw locking sleeve provides effective and secure locking that you can trust, climb after climb.

For complete quality assurance and traceability, each Bora GP carabiner is individually tested for a strength of 10 kN and is marked with a unique production number. This allows for easier inspection and management of your equipment inventory, a critical aspect for both individual climbers and commercial facilities.
