Singing Rock Bora TWL snap hook

SINGING ROCK Bora TWL Locking Carabiner

The SINGING ROCK Bora TWL is the quintessential workhorse carabiner for the modern climber, delivering an exceptional balance of strength, low weight, and versatile performance. Versatile pear–shaped HMS locking biner designed for belaying, rappelling and anchor building. Whether you are setting up a top-rope, managing the rope on a multi-pitch ascent, or performing a smooth rappel, the Bora is engineered to be your most trusted connection point. Its intelligent design and superior construction make it an indispensable piece of climbing equipment for climbers of all levels who demand reliability and flawless function.

Experience the perfect blend of strength and efficiency. The Bora’s innovative construction provides incredible rigidity and security without adding unnecessary weight to your rack. This means you can carry the gear you need for a safe and successful climb without being weighed down. Its large, rounded rope-bearing surface ensures exceptionally smooth rope glide, which is critical for fluid belay paying out and taking in. This design also significantly reduces wear on both your rope and the carabiner itself, extending the life of your essential gear.

The classic HMS pear shape is celebrated for its versatility, and the Bora maximizes this potential. The wide, spacious basket is perfectly suited for belaying with a Münter hitch and is compatible with a vast range of modern belay devices. When it comes to anchor building, the generous internal area easily accommodates multiple knots, such as the clove hitch, making complex rigging simpler and more organized. Maneuverability is key in critical situations, and the Bora’s angled, snag-free Keylock nose ensures that clipping and unclipping from ropes, harnesses, and anchors is always a smooth, hassle-free process.

This model features the fast and secure Twist Lock (TWL) gate, an auto-locking system that provides an excellent combination of security and ease of use. It´s ideal for situations where you need to clip in quickly and be confident that the gate is securely locked. Every single carabiner is rigorously tested to a strength of 10 kN to guarantee its performance under load, and a unique production number is assigned to each one for complete traceability and inspection, giving you total peace of mind.
