Description summary

The SINGING ROCK Shuttle is your ultimate all-in-one belay device, offering unparalleled versatility for sport climbing, multi-pitch, and alpine ascents. For multi-pitch, its guide mode allows secure, self-locking belay of one or two seconding climbers, with a release eyelet for controlled lowering. Crafted from lightweight alloy (65g), it´s durable, compact, and snag-free, making it the only belay device you need

SINGING ROCK Shuttle: The Ultimate All-in-One Belay Device

Discover unparalleled versatility and reliable performance with the SINGING ROCK Shuttle, the definitive belay device engineered for the modern climber. Whether you´re clipping bolts at the crag, navigating complex multi-pitch routes, or descending on a long rappel, the Shuttle is designed to be your single, trusted companion. Its intelligent, lightweight construction ensures it earns its place on your harness without weighing you down, making it ideal for everything from sport climbing to alpine ascents.

One device to do it all, the SHUTTLE offers maximum versatility. It has a groove, designed and shaped to provide equal friction for both thin and thick ropes. When you’re belaying from above, the “guide mode” lets you bring up one or two seconding climbers under control. For lowering, it has a small secondary hole that you can clinch a carabiner or sling for more leverage to release the device.

The genius of the Shuttle lies in its meticulously crafted V-shaped friction grooves. This advanced design provides exceptional braking power and smooth rope handling, giving you the confidence to provide a secure belay for your leader. The grooves create optimal friction, allowing for controlled lowering and confident catches, while also making rappelling feel smooth and secure. This intuitive control is consistent across a wide range of rope diameters, from skinny 7.8 mm half ropes to robust 10.5 mm single ropes, making it a truly adaptable tool for any situation.

For multi-pitch climbers, the Shuttle´s guide mode is a game-changer. When anchored, the device functions in a self-locking mode, allowing you to securely and efficiently belay one or two seconding climbers simultaneously. This auto-blocking function provides an extra layer of security, giving you peace of mind while managing ropes from above. If a second needs to be lowered, the cleverly integrated release eyelet allows for a controlled and gradual release of tension, ensuring a safe and smooth descent without losing control.

Crafted from a high-quality, light-alloy material, the Shuttle is both durable and incredibly lightweight. At a mere 65 grams, it adds minimal weight to your rack, a critical advantage on long days where every ounce counts. Its compact and sleek profile prevents it from snagging on gear or rock, maintaining a low profile on your harness until the moment it´s needed.

A little too fast on 9.5 strings should lock a little more with less effort, still not so much difference for the petzl reverse
