SINGING ROCK Spin: Uncompromising Ice Protection for Alpine Ascents

Navigate the vertical world of ice and snow with the unwavering confidence that comes from superior protection. The SINGING ROCK Spin ice screw is a masterfully engineered piece of climbing equipment designed for the demanding environments of glacier tours, classic alpine climbs, and technical ice routes. When your safety depends on a secure placement in unpredictable conditions, the Spin delivers exceptional performance, reliability, and efficiency, allowing you to focus on the climb ahead. It stands as a pinnacle of design in its class, offering climbers a trusted partner for their most ambitious mountain objectives.

Exceptional Strength and Durability for Secure Placements

At the core of the SINGING ROCK Spin´s design is its robust construction. The shaft is forged from hardened CrMo steel, a material chosen specifically for its immense strength and long-term durability. This ensures that each placement is solid and can withstand the significant forces generated during a fall. Furthermore, the entire shaft is treated with a specialized anti-corrosion coating. This crucial feature provides high resistance against rust and environmental degradation, safeguarding your investment and ensuring the screw remains reliable season after season, even in damp, challenging alpine conditions. This commitment to longevity and strength makes it an essential component of any serious alpinist´s rack.

Effortless Placement and Superior Performance in Hard Ice

Efficiency is critical when climbing in the cold. The SINGING ROCK Spin excels with a design focused on rapid and effortless placement. The tip features four high-quality, razor-sharp teeth that bite into the ice with aggressive precision, initiating the placement with minimal effort. This is a significant advantage when you´re pumped, wearing thick gloves, or placing protection in an awkward stance. The shaft´s thin profile is another key innovation, engineered to allow for smooth and easy screwing even in extremely dense, overfrozen ice found at temperatures below -10°C. Where other screws may struggle and require more effort, the Spin glides in, saving you precious energy and time on the route.

While often associated with rock, the concept of Wall anchors is about creating a trustworthy point of security. The SINGING ROCK Spin translates this principle of absolute reliability to the frozen realm, serving as your steadfast anchor in the vertical ice. Its ergonomic, light alloy hanger is thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable, secure grip for easy screwing, while its shape facilitates neat stacking on a harness clipper. The generous opening allows for the clipping of two carabiners, essential for building anchors or managing rope systems. Available in multiple lengths, you can build a versatile rack tailored to the specific ice conditions you expect to encounter.
