Singing Rock Vision Straight snap hook

SINGING ROCK Vision Straight Carabiner: Ultra-Lightweight Performance for Demanding Climbs

Introducing the SINGING ROCK Vision Straight snap hook, our lightest wire carabiner meticulously designed for your most difficult ascents. When every gram counts and performance is non-negotiable, the Vision Straight rises to the challenge, setting a new standard for lightweight climbing equipment. It is the ultimate choice for trad climbers, alpinists, and sport climbers looking to shed significant weight from their rack without compromising an ounce of strength, safety, or handling. This carabiner is engineered for those who push their limits and demand gear that can keep pace with their ambition.

Uncompromised Strength in a Featherlight Package

The Vision Straight carabiner is a marvel of modern engineering, delivering exceptional strength in an incredibly lightweight form. Through an advanced hot-forged construction process, its I-beam-like structure is optimized to provide maximum rigidity and an impressive major axis strength of 25 kN, ensuring your complete security on the wall. Weighing a mere 33 grams, it dramatically reduces the overall weight of your rack, minimizing fatigue on long multi-pitch routes and allowing for faster, more efficient movement in the mountains. The clean, forged marking is a signature of its high-quality production process.

Innovative Wire Gate for Enhanced Safety and Reliability

At the heart of the Vision Straight is its state-of-the-art wire gate. This design offers several distinct advantages over traditional solid gates. The wire gate´s minimal mass prevents it from "fluttering" and accidentally opening during a fall or upon striking the rock. This significantly enhances safety when you need it most. Furthermore, wire gates are less susceptible to freezing up in icy alpine conditions, ensuring reliable performance year-round. With low fault liability and a design that actively prevents accidental gate opening on strike, you can climb with confidence knowing your connection is secure.

Superior Handling and Ergonomics for Flawless Clipping

In climbing, efficiency is key. The SINGING ROCK Vision Straight boasts a refined ergonomic design that fits perfectly in your hand. The friendly motion of the gate is smooth and predictable, making clipping the rope or anchor a seamless, one-handed operation, even when pumped or wearing gloves. The straight gate configuration is ideal for the bolt-end of a quickdraw, providing a stable and secure connection point. The generous 19 mm gate opening allows for easy clipping and unclipping, saving you precious time and energy on your ascent.

Designed to Protect Your Rope

Your rope is your lifeline, and the Vision Straight is built to treat it with care. It features an excellent rope-bearing radius, meaning the surface where the rope runs is large, smooth, and perfectly contoured. This design minimizes friction, allowing the rope to feed through smoothly and, most importantly, reduces wear and tear on your rope´s sheath. By protecting your rope, the Vision Straight not only enhances safety but also helps extend the life of your most critical piece of gear.
