I am on the mountain 3 times a week in all conditions, and this jacket is a total game-changer. • Serious robustness: The 80D fabric feels like armor. It is way more rugged and solid than those flimsy lightweight shells I have used before. • Actually has pockets: Finally! 6 well-placed pockets that fit all my gear without it being a struggle. • Smart details: You can tell pros designed this. The high collar is a lifesaver in high winds, and the chunky zippers are easy to handle even with thick gloves. • Great breathability: The new ePE Gore-Tex is top-notch. No plastic bag feel even during high-intensity skiing, and it keeps me dry all day. • The Fit: The Boxy Fit is perfect. It is not that tight, restrictive cut - it has plenty of room for layering and moves with me, not against me. If you are looking for pure quality and zero snobbery, just get this.
