Unrivaled Weather Protection

Don´t let unpredictable weather dictate your plans. The Escape Light is a robust synthetic jacket built with a 2-layer construction featuring the high-performance Ceplex Active membrane. This advanced technology provides a formidable barrier against rain and wind, ensuring you stay dry and comfortable even in a downpour. As a fully windproof layer, it prevents wind chill from sapping your body heat, keeping you warmer for longer. At the same time, its excellent breathability allows moisture and excess heat to escape, maintaining a perfect inner microclimate during strenuous activity. The main front zip is protected by a double flap, creating an additional line of defense against penetrating wind and rain.

Designed for Versatility and Comfort

Engineered for movement, the Escape Light Jacket features a regular fit that allows for comfortable layering without feeling bulky. The articulated sleeves provide unrestricted freedom of movement, essential for hiking with poles or scrambling over technical terrain. For a customized fit, the jacket includes a drawcord at the bottom hem that can be easily adjusted through the pockets, and the cuffs are fully adjustable with a simple hook-and-loop closure. This jacket with hood offers ultimate adaptability; the attached hood can be adjusted for a snug fit or conveniently rolled up and stowed away within the collar for a cleaner look on clear days. As a highly compressible piece, it packs down small, taking up minimal space in your backpack.

Eco-Conscious Performance

True to VAUDE´s commitment to the planet, the Escape Light Jacket is a product you can feel good about wearing. It proudly carries the VAUDE Green Shape label, standing for environmentally-friendly, functional products made from sustainable materials. The water-repellent finish is VAUDE´s Eco Finish, a PFC-free treatment that sheds water without the use of harmful fluorocarbons, protecting both you and the environment.
